Geography:

Cuba consists of the mainland and over 1500 smaller islands and keys, ranging from the largest Isla de la Juventud at 1180 square kilometres to tiny uninhabitated keys. Cuba's indented coastline is marshy in the south and southwest, and rugged and precipitous in the north.
Three separate mountain ranges cover 25% of the country. In the southeast, the Sierra Maestra -with Cuba's highest peak Pico Turquino at 2005m;
the Sierra de Trinidad to the east of Havava in the central region, and the Sierra de los Organos in the west.
